A BOY & HIS BIKE.....DO WE EVER TRULY GROW UP?
I WOULDN'T SAY I WAS A HOARDER. USUALLY WHEN I GET STUFF I FIX IT UP & SELL IT. SOMETIMES IT PAYS TO SAVE A FEW TRINKETS THOUGH. CASE IN POINT.......I HAVE A BIG HOUSE, SOME THINGS I CAN STORE FOREVER, FORGET ABOUT IT, I MEAN (FUGGGEDABOUTIT) & ONE OF THESE DAYS, IT'LL COME IN HANDY :)
WHEN I WAS 12 MY BROTHER JOINED THE AIR FORCE, I HAD A FEW OF HIS ITEMS THAT I ENJOYED. SOME GOT LOST ALONG THE WAY. IN 2009 HE MOVED BACK TO OHIO, THEN WE COULD CATCH UP ON EACH OTHERS PERSONALITIES, FAULTS & FOIBLES.
SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE & WE REALLY DON'T GROW UP & WANT TO RECAPTURE OUR CHILDHOOD.
HE BOUGHT A CAMPER & WANTED A BIKE ( THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GOLDILOCKS TALE). I GAVE HIM MY SONS BIKE.....THE SEAT WAS TOO HARD. I GAVE HIM MY DAIGHTERS FOLD UP BIKE......THE HANDLE BARS WERE TOO LOW.......THEN, I SAID, I HAVE YOUR BIKE FROM WHEN YOU WERE 15.....OMG YOU WOULD HAVE THIOUGHT I TOLD HIM HE WON A MILLION $$. SO I BRING IT TO HIM, HE REDOES THE TIRES, POLISHES IT UP. IT WAS & IS A GREAT BIKE TO HAVE HAD WHEN YOU WERE 15, IT'S AN ENGLISH 3 SPEED FROM ENGLAND & HE IS GETTING REACQUAINTED WITH IT THIS WEEKEND LOL. I AM SO GLAD I SAVED THIS PIECE OF CHILDHOOD :)

That's amazing!!! It looks like new! It's worth so much money in that condition!!! Low end is $250... I've seen them on eBay for up to $800... That aside, I love that bike! And I'm a sentimental fool as well (must run in the family) and was happy to read that uncle Ron could be reunited with his boyhood bike!!! :)
